How to Access the New Petrinex Online Learning System
🔹 If You Do NOT Have an Alberta.ca Account
Follow these steps to create one:
1.    Go to the Petrinex Learning Centre website and click “Sign in” — you’ll be redirected to Alberta.ca.
2.    Click “Create account”.
3.    Select “Continue with email and password”.
4.    Enter the email address you used for your Petrinex IBM online learning profile, then click “Continue”.
5.    Follow the prompts to complete your Alberta.ca account setup.
6.    Once your account is created, return to the Petrinex Learning Centre and click the Learning Modules link.
7.    Click “Sign in” again and log in with your new Alberta.ca account — you’ll be redirected to the new LMS.
🔹 If You Already Have an Alberta.ca Account
âś…Â And your email matches your Petrinex IBM profile:
1.    Go to the Petrinex Learning Centre and click “Sign in”.
2.    Log in with your Alberta.ca account — you’ll be redirected to the new LMS.
⚠️ If your email is different from your Petrinex IBM profile:
Please contact us at 📧 petrinexadmin@gov.ab.ca so we can update your email address on your account.
🔹 If You Are a Government of Alberta Employee
1.    Go to the Petrinex Learning Centre and click “Sign in with Microsoft”.
2.    You’ll be redirected directly to the new LMS.
